May 28 - 2nd Annual Memorial Week Demonstration: Honor the War Dead by Demanding All Troops Home NOW
On Wednesday, May 28, during Memorial Week, hundreds of military families, veterans, students, and neighbors will join together to hold a 4,000-foot-long banner with the names of all of the U.S. troops and many Iraqi people who have been killed in the illegal and immoral occupation of Iraq. As we remember the dead, we will call on the government to Bring the Troops Home NOW and take care of them when they get here.
We will assemble at 4:30 pm at the National Guard Armory, located on the corner of Liberty Road and Teaneck Road in Teaneck, and remain there until 6:00 pm, rain or shine.
Your help is needed to make this action a success. Over 350 volunteers are needed to hold the 20-foot-long segments of the banner.

Please bring canned and boxed food and baby supplies directly to the Family Assistance Center at the National Guard Armory to help the families of the NJ National Guard. Use the Ward Plaza entrance.
When you arrive, please go to Ward Plaza (the southern end of the armory) and Teaneck Road, sign in at the table, then get a banner. Please return the banner to the same location at 6:00 pm. People are welcome to stand anywhere around the armory.
